Why Ocean Water?
A Cup of "Sea"
The ocean ties me to place and home. Having lived on the Oregon coast for ten years and grown up on the Atlantic coast, I now live near by and have the opportunity to be there part time year round. Every bar of soap is made with ocean water from Newport, to Seal Rock, Oregon. Another word for using ocean water to make soap is Soleseife (sole = brine, seife = soap) pronounced zo-luh-zigh-fuh. Soleseife is the german word for brine soap.
